ADL Storage provides secure self-storage units, RV storage, boat storage, trailer storage, and vehicle storage in Perry, Utah. The following FAQs answer common questions about rentals, payments, access, security, and storage policies.


Storage Unit FAQs

What size storage units do you offer?

We offer enclosed storage units in the following sizes: 12x10, 12x15, 12x20, 12x25, 12x30, 12x35, and 14x40.

Can I drive directly to my storage unit?

Yes. All units offer convenient drive-up access. Some units also provide easier backing and maneuvering room for larger trailers, campers, or vehicles. If backing access is important for your needs, please contact us before renting so we can help identify the best available unit.

What can I store in my unit?

Storage units may be used for household goods, furniture, business inventory, equipment, tools, seasonal items, recreational gear, and other lawful personal property.

What items are prohibited?

The following items may not be stored on the property:

  • Hazardous materials
  • Flammable or combustible liquids
  • Explosives
  • Loose lithium batteries
  • Illegal substances or stolen property
  • Perishable food or food storage
  • Living plants
  • Animals or livestock
  • Any item that may create a safety, health, or environmental hazard

RV, Boat, Vehicle, and Trailer Storage FAQs

Do you offer RV, camper, boat, and trailer storage?

Yes. We offer both enclosed storage units and outdoor parking spaces for RVs, fifth-wheel trailers, travel trailers, campers, boats, and trailer storage. All trailers must be secured with a trailer hitch lock while stored on the property.

What size outdoor parking spaces do you offer?

We offer outdoor parking spaces up to 40 feet in length for RVs, boats, trailers, and other approved vehicles. Each parking space is limited to one vehicle, trailer, boat, RV, or similar item.

What types of vehicles and recreational equipment can I store?

Permitted property includes automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, boats, personal watercraft, RVs, trailers, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and similar recreational equipment.

Do I have to register my vehicle?

Vehicles and equipment stored on the property must be owned or lawfully possessed by the tenant. Management may request registration, title, insurance, or ownership documentation if necessary.

What other rules apply to vehicle, trailer, and recreational equipment storage?

For safety reasons, battery chargers, trickle chargers, and similar charging devices may not be connected while vehicles or equipment are in storage. Covers used on RVs, boats, trailers, or other stored property must be properly fitted and securely fastened to prevent them from blowing loose, detaching, or creating a hazard to neighboring tenants or property. Flatbed trailers, truck beds, or any other open-style trailer or vehicle must be stored empty.


Access & Security FAQs

What kind of lock do I need?

Tenants are responsible for providing and maintaining their own lock. Only one tenant lock may be installed on a storage unit at any time. Please use a heavy duty 2 ¾” disc style lock. We do have locks available for sale.

Do you offer 24-hour access?

Yes. Tenants enjoy 24-hour access for their convenience. To help maintain a secure and quiet environment, access between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM is limited to one visit per night, lasting no more than 30 minutes. Overnight use of storage units, parking spaces, or common areas is not permitted.

Is the facility gated?

Yes. Our facilities feature controlled gate access for tenants, including keypad entry and text-to-open options where available.

Do you have security cameras?

Yes. Each ADL Storage facility is equipped with high-definition security cameras that monitor the property.

How is the property monitored?

To help maintain a safe and secure environment, ADL Storage may review gate activity, access records, security camera footage, and other available records to verify compliance with rental agreements and facility policies. In addition, management performs daily lock inspections to help identify potential security concerns.


Rental Terms and Agreement FAQs

Do I need a long-term contract?

No. All rentals are month-to-month with a minimum rental period of 30 days.

What is due when I reserve a unit?

A security deposit equal to one month's rent and the first month's rent, prorated if applicable, are due at the time of reservation.

When is rent due?

Rent is billed monthly and due on the 1st day of each month.

Do you offer online payments?

Yes. Tenants can manage their accounts online. All online rentals are set up with automatic monthly payments, also known as Auto-Pay, to provide convenient, worry-free account management and help ensure uninterrupted access to your storage unit.

How do I cancel my rental?

Simply submit a 30-day notice through your online account. No phone calls or office visits are required. To receive a full refund of your security deposit, the required 30-day notice must be provided, and all move-out requirements must be satisfied.

Do I need storage insurance?

Insurance is not required, but it is strongly recommended. Coverage may be available through your homeowner's, renters, or vehicle insurance policy, or through an approved storage insurance provider.

ADL Storage does not provide insurance coverage for stored property. Tenants are responsible for protecting and insuring their property and assume all risk for loss or damage to stored items.
